Terms of Service | PCB-Vault

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the PCB-Vault software ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Software.

2. License Grant

PCB-Vault grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Software strictly in accordance with this Agreement.

Perpetual License: The license for the specific version purchased is perpetual.
Hardware Locking: The license is cryptographically bound to the specific computer hardware on which it is activated.
Volume Licensing: Each license key is valid for one (1) physical machine unless otherwise stated.

3. The "Zero-Knowledge" & Password Disclaimer

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: PCB-Vault is an offline-first encryption tool.

We do not host, store, or backup your data.
We do not know your Master Password and cannot recover it.
If you lose your password, your data is permanently lost. You are solely responsible for your own backups.

4. Restrictions

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
Attempt to bypass the hardware-locking licensing mechanism.
Rent, lease, or sub-license the Software to third parties.

5. Payment and Refunds

No Refunds: Due to the nature of digital software and the availability of a 14-day free trial, all sales are final once a License Key has been issued.
Maintenance: Access to software updates and priority support requires an active Annual Maintenance plan.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Software is provided "AS IS". PCB-Vault shall not be liable for any damages (including loss of business profits or manufacturing errors) arising out of the use of this Software.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
