Getting Started

Welcome to PCB-Vault. This guide will help you set up your secure, offline-first environment for managing PCB design data.

PCB-Vault is designed to work completely offline. You do not need an internet connection to access your data after activation.

Installation

System Requirements

  • Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
  • macOS 10.15+ (Intel or Apple Silicon)
  • 4GB RAM minimum (8GB recommended)

Setup Process

  1. Download the installer for your operating system from the Download Center.
  2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. On first launch, you will be asked to create a Master Password.
  4. IMPORTANT: Do not lose this password. Since we are offline-first, we cannot recover it for you.

Creating Your First Project

Once logged in, you can create a new Vault Project to store your Gerbers, BOMs, and Schematics.
